Clearly, the false claims made by the doctor and the request to have him removed from his position at the University have proven to be futile, as his television presence presses on. Although he has encountered some rocky times in the past few years, it is still up to the viewer to decide if his word is worth trusting. The debate regarding Oz’s professionalism and his medical claims rages on. Some have stayed loyal and trust his word, while others have become more than skeptical. With the show being renewed for another year, and him still holding his position at Columbia University, there is no telling what the future of Dr. Oz may hold.
