Soccer insider Mike Goodman’s tweets had to be the worst. Seeing his co-workers announce they had been let go, one-by-one on Twitter in the early morning on April 26th, he sent out a tweet himself, saying, “Today’s gonna suck for a lot of people at ESPN. It doesn’t seem like too much to ask to remember that those people are in fact people.” Only an hour later, Goodman too received the dreaded call, becoming one of those people he spoke of. He went back to Twitter and said, “And hey, it turns out one of those people is me. Loved by time at ESPN, and now it’s time to figure out what’s next.”
