Katherine Keigel co-starred with Seth Rogan as the career-minded Alison Scott in the Judd Apatow comedy Knocked Up. Although the movie is considered to be a classic comedy among the likes of Superbad and The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Heigel has expressed some disdain about her character. In an interview, she opened up saying that “It was a little sexist. It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight. I had a hard time with it on some days.”

However, she was able to look past it, for the most part, saying that “ninety-eight percent of the time it was an amazing experience, but it was hard for me to love the movie.”
