Attila the Hun’s Mysterious Death

Attila the Hun is famous for being a ruthless warrior and attacker. Attila ruled the Hunnic Empire for over 19 years and became the most feared opponent of the incredible Roman Empire. He was also said to not believe in taking prisoners, which is why he was always in favor of killing his enemies.

There are two interesting theories about the death of Attila. One says that while he was celebrating his latest marriage, he somehow suffered a nosebleed and choked to death on his own blood. The other is that he possibly had esophageal varices, which can lead to hemorrhaging and death. Yikes! Yet somehow a fitting death for such a bloodthirsty man.
