Mihnea Cel Rău Was Supposedly Dracula’s Son

Mihnea Cel Rău was the son of the supposed real-life Dracula, Vlad III. Rău was said to have tried to continue his father’s gruesome rule but was inevitably taken down by the much more powerful Ottoman Empire. Rău’s nickname was actually, “the evil one,” even though his father was much worse.

Others said that Mihnea simply did not have the same amount of time to reach the levels of evil that his father had. Ultimately Mihnea was killed after attending mass at a Catholic church in Sibiu. He was stabbed outside by a hired assassin and his body was ultimately buried inside that very church where you can visit his tomb today.
