Hirohito’s Violent Legacy

Hirohito was responsible for the attacks of Nanking, which claimed the lives of over 300,000 and the sexual assault of over 200,000 women in the Chinese village. He was also responsible for the enslavement of over ten million people who were used for bayonet practice or for food. Yuck! Hirohito was also the Emperor when the United States dropped the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
