King Mswati III of Swaziland

King Mswati III is the forty-eight-year-old king of Swaziland. He came to rule in 1986 at the age of eighteen. Although many people in his kingdom are affected by HIV, King Mswati III has said that all HIV-positive people should be “sterilized and branded.”

He also passed a law which prohibits girls from having sex until they reach 21 and any man who breaks the law must pay a fine of one cow. Mswati himself broke the law when he married an underage wife. Within his kingdom, death is an apt punishment for literally any crime and they also have debtors prison. King Mswati also has fifteen wives and twenty-five children.
