Osama Bin Laden the Founder of al-Qaueda

Osama Bin Laden was the founder of the al-Qaeda organization, which took responsibility for the attacks on the World Trade Centers on September 11, 2001. The organization is also at fault for other atrocities across the globe and are considered a terrorist organization.

Although towards the end of his life, Bin Laden was often seen in grainy videos that depicted him in the caves of Afghanistan, he was actually from a very wealthy family. His father was a billionaire construction magnate that was very close with the Saudi royal family. Bin Laden was killed by the United States military on May 2, 2011.
