Jean-Marie Loret, Hitler’s Heir?

Jean-Marie Loret was a former French railway worker who claimed to be the only living heir of Adolf Hitler. He is said to have stated that his mother told him, “your father is Hitler,” which is also the premise of his autobiography. Historians state that it is not likely that he is actually Hitler’s child.

One historian named Werner Maser actually did support his claim which gave forth to relative notoriety. Werner is known for being the one who discovered Adolf Hitler’s medical records which were thought to have been lost. In 2008, a Belgian journalist set out to collect DNA from the living descendants of Loret which proved that he was not the son of Adolf Hitler.
