Rockstars aren’t usually known for their academic brilliance, but for their creative minds. Let’s face it, you have to be pretty savvy to make decent music. Brian May, the guitarist of Queen, has enjoyed a really successful music career.

Before things took off with the band, he studied math and physics at Imperial College London. He went on to do a Ph.D. in Astrophysics, but it did take him 30 years to get that. He can hardly be blamed, considering he was touring the world with one of the biggest bands to ever exist. Would you ever have guessed it?
