Watching Jerry Springer is like watching a car crash in slow motion. Often scripted, the comments from host Jerry just add fuel to the fire rather than calming things down. Let’s just say his style is very different from Dr. Phil.

It’s well known that Jerry used to be the mayor of Cincinnati, but most people write him off as a smarmy politico that snaked his way to the top. This could still be true, but let’s not pretend that he isn’t insanely qualified. A Northwestern grad, he went on to advise Robert F. Kennedy. When he got elected to the Cincinnati city council he was just 27 years old.
