Elizabeth Hurley Took An Acting Break To Be There For Her Son

Model and actress Elizabeth Hurley has appeared in films Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and Bedazzled early in her career. Known for dating Hugh Grant, Hurley gave birth to son Damien and took a break from acting to focus on raising her child on a farm in England.

She told Rescu.com several years ago that her son, now a teenager, comes first: “I’m never torn about it. If he’s got something on and he wants me to go to, I go to it. And that’s just that. That meant I sort of left the acting arena and movies for eight years and only did small bits because my choice was to be with him.
