Leelee Sobieski Quit Making Films To Raise Her Kids

Leelee Sobieski appeared in films such as Deep Impact, Eyes Wide Shut, and the made-for-TV movie Joan of Arc. But motherhood had such an impact on her life that she gave up her film career. Her daughter, Louisanna Ray, was born in 2009 and son Martin, was born in 2014.

“I don’t do movie stuff anymore,” She told Us Weekly. “I am totally an outsider!… Just a mom and an outsider. Like most moms, I’m always busy… Giving Lewi a bath, buying milk, cleaning something, making some decision, reading weird baby blogs, worrying I disciplined in the wrong way.”
