Not Something To Be Proud Of For Swank

People labeled Hilary Swank as a hypocrite. She starred in the film Freedom Writers where she encouraged students to stay in school and do a good job. How could she do that if she dropped out South Pasadena High School?

“I’m not proud to say I’m a high school dropout,” Swank said. “I’m not proud that that’s something that happened, but it happened.” We would say it was worth it because by 18 she was ready to star in her first huge film, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
