These Bodybuilders And Fighters Almost Died While Training
Bodybuilder Romario Alves Injected His Arms With A Deadly Cocktail Of Oil And Alcohol

Dangerous injections gave Romario Dos Santos Alves his cartoonish, perfect muscles, but it also took his life. While most bodybuilders have intense training schedules and strict diets some look for dangerous alternatives to tough work. While anabolic steroids are common, the synthetic filler Alves used to plump up his guns may be even more dangerous.
Alves used Synthol, a potentially lethal filler that’s increasingly more common in the bodybuilding circuit. It allows bodybuilders to hide body parts that are not responding well to training. It’s often used in calves, shoulder muscles, and upper arms, but poses some major health risks. In Alves’ case, a Synthol addiction almost caused him to lose his arms.
