Khabib Nurmagomedov is a major, major contender in UFC’s lightweight division, but his grueling tactics to make weight nearly pushed his body to the point of no return.

Nurmagomedov famously called Conor McGregor, UFC’s lightweight frontrunner, a “chicken,” but didn’t even show up to his weigh-ins at the match that could have won him the interim UFC lightweight title in March.
