Alexandra Kerry is the daughter of Senator Kerry but has made her own way in Hollywood. Kerry is a filmmaker, mostly known for being a partner at Locomotive films. Her credits include Pieces of April, Grey Gardens, and Friends With Kids. Kerry has also dabbled in politics and upholds her family’s liberal views.

She has interviewed by Ben Affleck concerning her thoughts about the war in Iraq and has also been a featured guest on the MTV VMA’s to discuss her political ideas. Her biggest political act was when she joined her father on the road for Barack Obama’s successful 2008 campaign trail. Her foundation, Ad Your Voice, also helped Barack Obama by allowing viewers to create their own political ads in favor of the democratic party!
