Open Marriages: Hollywood’s Worst Kept Secret?

Despite having finally settled their contentious divorce, it was considered an “open secret” in Hollywood that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were in an open marriage. Quoted by Hollywood Life, Jolie stated “I doubt that fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship … It’s worse to leave your partner and talk badly about him afterward. Neither Brad nor I have ever claimed that living together means to be chained together. We make sure that we never restrict each other.”

While the couple has since agreed to keep their divorce proceedings confidential, when she filed for divorce in September of 2016, Jolie stated through her attorney that it was “for the health of the family” causing many to speculate that the tumultuous relationship between Jolie and Pitt had begun to affect the couples six children.

It was so long ago that people may not even remember the two of these celebs getting together but it did happen and didn’t last long due to Cannon’s requests. With the big house, babies and money to offer Kim, all Nick requested was the freedom to romp around with other ladies.

Simple right? Well, in an unfair twist, Kim was not allowed to be as free as Cannon, which really isn’t fair or reasonable. Needless to say, once Nick presented the terms the relationship didn’t last long, but, like we said, it still did happen.
