Robyn was the last wife to enter the Brown family after 16 years. She had just went through a difficult divorce in a monogamous relationship through which she already had three kids. Knowing she didn’t want to be in a relationship, she still got close to Kody and his family and said, “it took months for me to be convinced that it was right. I was making sure this time that I had found my soulmate.”

Kody legally divorced his first wife Meri in 2014 and subsequently legally married Robyn so that he could adopt her three children. After they married, they had two kids together. Kody admitted that “When Robyn came into the family, she brought about an emotional honestly that required me to start dealing with things I avoided.”
