Romance (1999)

Romance is an especially graphic movie featuring multiple acts of completely unsimulated interactions. The film stars Caroline Ducey. An arthouse film, Romance follows the journey of a young woman, Marie, who lives with her boyfriend Paul. Paul refuses to partake in intimacy with her, so Marie searches for it in unusual places.

She becomes increasingly promiscuous and winds up participating in sadomasochism with an older man, in scenes that were completely unfeigned. A very brief ejaculation shot was also featured in the movie. Written and directed by Catherine Breillat, the film was edited to receive an R rating before being shown in America.
