No Filter: These Actors Were Really Getting Intimate On Film!

Nymphomaniac (2014)

This film’s title and director (Lars von Trier) are clear indicators that there are plenty of acts of sensuality depicted throughout. Christian Slater, Jamie Bell, Uma Thurman, Willem Dafoe, and Shia LaBeouf star in Nymphomaniac, the final film in von Trier’s “Depression Trilogy.” The movie was originally five and a half hours long.

LaBeouf had this to say about the movie: “[T]here’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we’re doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we’ll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening. … [V]on Trier’s dangerous. He scares me. And I’m only going to work now when I’m terrified.”
