You might remember Danica McKellar as Gwendolyn “Winnie” Cooper from The Wonder Years, which she played for five years throughout the late ’80s and early ’90s. She was at the start of her teens when she began playing the girl-next-door with those iconic cat-eye glasses on the show but unfortunately found it hard to transition into adult roles after it ended. However, one might say that she was a little nerdy and stayed that way—and we mean that in a good way! As an adult, McKellar went to college and got her Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from UCLA.
