Jason Segel debuted on television in 1999’s Freaks and Geeks as Nick Andopolis, a kind but aimless high-school stoner with ambitions of becoming a professional drummer. It seems that Segel succeeds at portraying weird, awkward characters as he is frequently cast in such roles with films such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I Love You, Man, and Knocked Up. Aside from his dorky roles, Segel also proved he can play more heartwarming and charming roles, especially from having portrayed Marshall Eriksen on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother for eight seasons. That is when the ladies truly saw Segel as someone who could steal their hearts.
