Lea Michele has acted on Broadway since she was eight years old, but it wasn’t until her early 20’s that she made her transition to television. In 2009, Lea Michelle debuted to the general public’s television screens as Rachel Berry on the Fox sitcom Glee. Rachel Berry is an over-achieving, frumpy—albeit extremely talented—member of McKinley High’s glee club. Although she was known for her uptight character for several years, Michele has ventured into other acting roles and has proven that she is hardly anything like Rachel Berry. She is also known for her roles on Scream Queens and The Mayor.
