America Ferrera got her start in the Disney Channel original movie Gotta Kick It Up! and in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies, before going on to her most notable role as Betty Suarez on ABC’s Ugly Betty. There, she was made up to look as dorky as they come with glasses and braces, a colorful wardrobe, and a physique that often became the subject of ridicule. Well, after the iconic show’s end, Ferrera took on few acting roles but recently returned to television in 2015 with NBC’s Superstore. When not in character, you can see that Ferrera is actually quite stunning.
