Michael Cera’s earliest best-known role is that of George Michael Bluth on Fox’s Arrested Development. Cera played a timid, awkward teen in a family of overbearing personalities. It seems that the persona works well for Cera since he sort of became typecast in those types of roles in most of the movies that he is known for (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Superbad, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist). Of course, that’s what the ladies love him for nowadays and he has at least grown into his cherubic face as he has gotten older.
