Perhaps a few misunderstandings are how rumors of Grint living a life of Riley surfaced. The Sun put all of his personal information on blast in 2016 when they published an article discussing his personal and professional woes. It stated that he was unhappy with where he was in his career and had a problem drinking and partying too much.

Grint hasn’t responded to those claims directly, but he shed some light on it a little. He said he had a problem with saying no. “I would do anything if someone asks me to do it,” Grint told The Mirror. “It’s got me in a few weird situations. I met this drag queen and went back to her little flat with all her drag queen friends because I couldn’t say no.”
