Winning an Academy Award in 1972 for her performance in Khute, Jane Fonda looked absolutely stunning in her pantsuit. The controversial wardrobe choice was questioned a the time, but looking back now there is no question how gorgeous the star looked.

With no designer willing to make her a pantsuit for the show, Fonda took her fate into her own hands and found one off the rack from a department store. There is no question in our minds whether Fonda made the right choice or not. She definitely did!
