Rapper Offset proposed to Cardi B during a concert in Philadelphia back in October 2017, but little did everyone know, the pair were already secretly married. People were tipped off when Offset thanked his “wife” at the BET Awards in June 2018.

After the slip, TMZ posted the couple’s marriage certificate from September 2017 before Offset publicly got down on one knee. After the leak, Cardi took to Twitter to address the issue saying that this was something she wanted to keep private. “Our relationship was so new, breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do, but we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other,” Cardi wrote.

Amy Schumer rose some eyebrows back in February 2018 when she posted the first photo of herself with chef Chris Fisher, letting fans know that she was in a happy relationship. Just four days later, she posted another picture of them getting married.

Schumer and Fisher eloped in a private Malibu ceremony in front of a small crowd that included two Jennifers (Aniston and Lawrence), Jake Gyllenhaal, Larry David, and David Spade. Rumors that Schumer was in a relationship with Fisher have been swirling as early as November 2017, but nothing was confirmed until they were practically married months later.

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen became engaged in 2004 after two years of dating, but a wedding was not yet in sight for the actors. But suddenly in 2010, Fisher apparently emailed friends saying, “We did it – we’re married! …I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!”

The wedding took place at an intimate ceremony in Paris and by then, the couple already shared a three-year-old daughter, Olive. Fisher converted to Judaism in order to mary Cohen, saying at one point, “We have a future together and religion comes second to love as far as we are concerned.”

These Comedians Eloped And No One Cared, Apparently

Comedians Chelsea Peretti and Jordan Peele eloped at Big Sur back in April 2016 with only their dog as their witness. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actress and Get Out director announced their engagement via Twitter in November 2015 but didn’t tell anyone about the nuptials.

Perretti dished on Conan that they, “were married by a woman named Soaring, like soaring about the clouds, and our dog was there, and that was it. No guests.” When host Conan O’Brien asked if the family was hurt they were not invited, Peretti said, “I don’t even think they cared… We made these whole big photo books for everyone afterward, and… they left them at our house.”

This talk show host may have eloped to Vegas, but their marriage has lasted for over 20 years.

That ’70s Show fans were thrilled when Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher became a real-life couple in 2012. Kutcher and Kunis secretly married during Fourth of July weekend in 2015 at the Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California.

The wedding party was reportedly very “low-key” with only close family and friends in attendance. In fact, people didn’t know that Kunis and Kutcher were officially tying the knot until after the fact. However, sources say that the couple was already legally married before the wedding happened, which wouldn’t be wrong to assume since they welcomed daughter Wyatt in 2014.

Kelly Ripa met husband Mark Consuelos on the set of All My Children in 1995 when the pair played an on-screen couple. It wasn’t long before that chemistry blossomed into a real-life romance.

Ripa and Consuelos recounted their whirlwind elopement on her show, starting with the engagement: “We went for a walk in the park. I convinced her to come back to my apartment. We had pizza and wine and I asked her to marry me,” Consuelos said. Ripa added, “And I said, ‘Ask me when you’re serious.’ And he said, ‘I am serious. Let’s go to Vegas tomorrow and get married.’ …I said yes.”

Bell and Shepard announced their engagement in 2010 but famously vowed not to tie the knot until California legalized same-sex marriage. After the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8 were overturned in 2013, Bell asked Shepard to marry her on Twitter. They have been happily married ever since and have two kids together.

Paparazzi photographers reportedly swarmed the Gold Coast and Australia’s Byron Bay, where the secret wedding was rumored to be. The wedding wasn’t confirmed until Robbie posted a picture of her ring on Instagram. Robbie met Ackerley in 2014 on the set of Suite Française, where he was working as an assistant director. After that, they reportedly shared a three-bedroom house in London with five other friends before settling together in Los Angeles.

Zoe Saldana had secretly been married for months before news broke that she married Italian artist Marco Perego in September 2013. The public had barely found out that the two were dating earlier that year in March.

Saldana and Perego reportedly had a secret ceremony in London in June 2013 and the Guardians of the Galaxy actress had successfully gone on press tours with no ring (or no one noticing, at least) for several months before people found out.
