Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Opted For A Courthouse Wedding

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard skipped all the pomp and circumstance of a big wedding back in 2013. Instead, they opted for a simple court wedding at the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office, only spending $142 to make things official.

Bell and Shepard announced their engagement in 2010 but famously vowed not to tie the knot until California legalized same-sex marriage. After the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8 were overturned in 2013, Bell asked Shepard to marry her on Twitter. They have been happily married ever since and have two kids together.
