Astronauts in Florida? While the show centered in Florida, which as allegedly where the astronauts went to work at the time, the claim was purely movie magic and not based in truth. NASA’s astronauts had moved on from Florida and were training at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, Texas. It is now called the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. It was a fictional series and they could play loose with those type of facts so we forgive them for this inaccuracy.
