Twenty- seven years after the episode ended the show’s biggest star returned to speak at Space Days at the Kennedy Space Center in 1996. During the event Cocoa Beach Mayor Joe Morgan gave her a “I Dream of Jeannie Lane” street sign. That sign was eventually installed on a short road just off Florida State Road A1A near Lori Wilson Park.
