Celebrity relationships have long been under public scrutiny and media focus since the days of Old Hollywood. Often celebrities have had a multitude of marriages, affairs, and even murders in their relationship histories! All of that drama certainly didn’t stop these stars from going back for more! Pam Anderson and Rick Salomon
This bombshell actress has been married twice to one of her husbands, Rick Salomon. While Pam is most famous for Baywatch, Rick is most famous for starring in Paris Hilton’s night vision naughty tape. Pam and Rick were first married in 2007 in Las Vegas and had their marriage annulled shortly after in 2008. Several years later Pam appeared on Ellen and said the two were still friends with benefits. They remarried several years later in 2014 and she asked for a divorce that same year and then later asked for the judge to dismiss the request. However, the following year 2015 she filed for divorce with Rick for the third and final time.
Hollywood legend and movie star of the glamorous days of Hollywood, Lana Turner had eight marriages throughout her life, each lasting fewer than five years. She first married Joseph Crane in 1942 and the two only stayed married one year, their daughter Cheryl Crane was also born the year they split in 1943. The two quickly remarried that same year and remain married until 1944. Years later Lana entered into a relationship with gangster Johnny Stompanato in 1957. The relationship was rife with constant arguing and physical abuse.
In 1958, Lana attended the Oscars and returned home to have a huge fight with Johnny. At some point, her fourteen-year-old daughter Cheryl began to fear for her mother’s life and grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed and killed Johnny. There was a media whirlwind around the media case but ultimately it was found to be justifiable homicide. There have been many rumors over the years about what really happened and the truth will probably never be revealed.
Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton
Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton are one of the most iconic love stories of all time. The two had a famously tumultuous and passionate relationship over the years. They first met while on set for the film Cleopatra where they played famous lovers Cleopatra and Marc Antony. When they met they were both married, Elizabeth to Eddie Fisher, whom had previously been married to her best friend Debbie Fisher.
The relationship was widely talked about, and even the Vatican reported on it. They offered a condemnation on the relationship and called it erotic vagrancy. Richard and Liz were married for 10 years, from March 1964 to June 1974. After divorcing, they remarried in October 1975, a marriage which ended again, in July 1976.
An Iconic Love
Throughout their first marriage, the two were known to be extremely devoted but also constantly fighting. Richard even adopted her two daughters Liza and Maria Burton. Ultimately the marriage ended because Richard cheated on Liz with a young co-star. The couple reunited and remarried in 1975 but divorced again in 1976. Reportedly the couple was driven apart due to a variety of issues but Richard’s severe alcoholism was a chief cause.
They both remained devoted, and some might even say in love with one another, despite being married to other people. Elizabeth was once asked why she felt the relationship didn’t work out and she said “Maybe we loved each other too much.”
Newsman Larry King is known for his reporting but he is also known for his many marriages. He’s been married eight times! Two of those instances were to the same woman. Larry married Alene Akins in 1961 and then divorced only two years later in 1963. However, Larry was committed enough to adopt Alene’s son Andy in 1962. The couple split for four years before remarrying in 1967. The two had a daughter named Chaia in 1969. They later divorced in 1972.
Larry has famously said that he has only actually been in love three times and the other marriages were just of convenience, although it’s unknown which he was referring to. Sadly, Alene recently passed away in February of 2017 and Larry released a statement expressing his sadness and he called her a “grand lady”.
Rapper Marshall Mathers, better known by his stage name Eminem has been married twice to his childhood sweetheart Kim Scott. Kim and Eminem met when they were young teenagers and she and her twin sister Dawn had run away from home. Kim and Dawn reportedly moved into the trailer park in which Eminem lived with his mother. Eminem famously rapped about Kim in some not so flattering ways. The two had a daughter named Hailie in 1995 who Eminem has also often rapped about and his devotion to her has always seemed to be paramount in their lives. Eminem and Kim first married in 1999 and divorced only three years later in 2001.
Kim later had a child with another man and named their daughter Whitney. However, Eminem has also taken responsibility for her as well as Kim’s niece Alaina, and the couple has raised all three girls together. They briefly reconciled and got remarried in 2006 but later divorced the same year. In 2014, Kim relapsed on drugs and alcohol and claimed she tried to commit suicide by wrecking her car. She lived and has since regained sobriety. She said Eminem has been very supportive of her and co-parenting their children. Eminem has also famously spoken about his struggle with prescription drugs and ultimately got sober even dedicating his album to the issue.
Hilarious comedian Richard Pryor married two different wives two times. It seems as though Richard got caught in the middle of a love triangle of sorts that lasted for many years of his life. Richard has first been married to three different women, all of the marriages lasted only one year until he met Jennifer Lee. He first married Jennifer in 1979 but the two split three years later and divorced in 1982.
Richard then went on to marry Flynn Belaine in 1986 but again divorced the next year in 1987. The two remarried three years later in 1990, but again couldn’t make it work and divorced for good in 1991. Richard then reunited with Jennifer in 2001 and the two remained married until he died in 2005.
Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner
Film stars Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner had a spectacularly notable relationship. They first married in 1957, when Natalie was only nineteen years old and they were each others’ first spouses. They subsequently divorced a few years later in 1962. They later reunited and married again in 1972. They had a daughter together named Courtney in 1974. Natalie also had a daughter named Natasha with Richard Gregson, however, she split with him when he cheated on her with a secretary. Robert subsequently adopted Natasha and she took his last name and now goes by Natasha Gregson Wagner. She is also an actress.

A Tragic End
Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner remain married until her controversial death in 1981. While on a boat trip Natalie somehow fell off and drowned. It was later revealed that she had bruises on her body, including on her left cheek when she died. Many suspected Robert of having a hand in causing Natalie’s death. The only other people on the boat at the time of her death were Robert, the boat captain, and actor Christopher Walken.
In 2011, the case was re-opened after the boat captain said that he lied and that Robert and Natalie had a fight the night she died, he also said that Robert was responsible for her death. No charges have ever been brought against Robert.
Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson
Actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith also famously married one another twice. The two began dating when Melanie was only a shocking fourteen years old! Don was twenty-two at the time and co-starring in a film with Melanie’s mother Tippi Hedren. They first married in 1976 for only six months when Melanie was nineteen. They went on to have relationships with other people and Melanie had a marriage to Scarface star Steven Bauer from 1982 to 1987. Then Melanie and Don reunited in 1989, and the two had a daughter, Dakota Johnson that same year. Dakota now is the lead actress in the 50 Shades of Grey film trilogy. The two later divorced in 1996 and both remarried.
Judge Judy and Jerry Sheindlin
Television star Judge Judy has had a longtime marriage to fellow judge, Jerry Sheindlin. The two were first married back in 1977 and remained married all the way until 1990. The couple shares five children together. Judge Judy is known for her no-nonsense attitude which surely she applies to her marriage. However, the two decided to give it another go and not long after getting divorced remarried in 1991 and remain married until today. The two also share twelve grandchildren together. In 2016, tabloids were reporting that the two were again divorcing after Judge Jerry Sheindlin was caught gallivanting with younger women. However, that seems to be nothing more than gossip fodder!
Add another comedian to the list of multiple marriages. Rodney Dangerfield was married to wife Joyce Indig in back-to-back marriages. The couple first married in 1949 and stayed married all the way until 1962. The couple shared two children together, a son and daughter named Brian and Melanie. Rodney was in stand-up at this time and hadn’t yet crossed over to appearing in films. The two almost immediately remarried in 1963 and stayed married for seven more years until 1970.
Rodney later remarried to wife Joan Child in 1993 and stayed married to her until he died in 2004. A biography was posthumously released which revealed Rodney had another longtime love affair in his life – with marijuana!
Marie Osmond first became famous as a kid with her family band. Her first marriage was to Steve Craig back in 1982, the couple had one son together also named Stephen. They later divorced in 1985. The following year Marie went on to marry Brian Blosil and the two had two children biologically and adopted five more children together. The couple divorced in 2007 and Marie went on to reconcile with her first love Steve.
The couple remains together today. When they remarried Marie reportedly wore the dress she wore to their first wedding. They have faced multiple challenges together including the suicide of Marie’s son Michael who faced depression and addiction issues.
Mononymous comedian Sinbad has been married twice to the same woman. They first married back in 1985 and had two children together, Paige and Royce. The couple later divorced in 1992. Sinbad was a popular touring comedian at the time and he has spoken candidly about why his marriage failed the first time around. He said, “This business is a very selfish business. We had two kids, I was on the road. I had two lives… And the life on the road probably gets more real than the life at home. I wasn’t ready to be married. I became a great father, but I wasn’t a great husband. I had no tools to understand how to be a husband.” The couple later reconciled over ten years later in 2002 and they remain happily married until today.
Songstress and actress Rosemary Clooney is definitely thought of as Hollywood royalty. She was married to fellow actor José Ferrer in 1952. The couple had five children in five years. One of whom was actor Miguel Ferrer who was the spitting image of his father and famous for roles in shows like Crossing Jordan and NCIS. Sadly, Miguel just passed away in 2017 at the young age of 61 from throat cancer. Rosemary is also the aunt of George Clooney. Rosemary and José later split in 1961. Rosemary and José gave it another go before they divorced for good in 1967. Rosemary had reportedly found out that Miguel was carrying on in an affair with a woman who would later become his last wife named Stella Magee. Rosemary subsequently became increasingly dependent on pills. She became involved with the campaign for Bobby Kennedy, who was also a close friend, and was there when he was assassinated. She subsequently had a nervous breakdown in 1968, that reportedly took place when she was onstage. She later remarried Dante DiPaolo in 1997 until her death from lung cancer in 2002.
Reality star NeNe Leakes who stars in the show “Real Housewives of Atlanta” has been married twice to the same man. NeNe first married husband Gregg Leakes far before any of her newfound fame back in 1997. The two had son Bryson back in 1999 and he is now father to a baby girl. NeNe and Gregg decided to call it quits in 2011. However, the couple later decided to reunite which was all filmed for the spin-off show called I Dream Of NeNe: The Wedding. There were rumors that the two had conjured up the entire thing for more publicity for themselves. However, the two truly reunited and remarried in 2013 and had another son the same year they named Brentt.
Old Hollywood actress Jane Wyman was married to five different times in her life, twice to the same man. She was famously married to future president Ronald Reagan in 1940 and had three children together. After the death of their baby daughter, Christine Reagan, their marriage was forever damaged and the two divorced in 1949. Ronald Reagan was for a time the only United States President to ever be divorced and Jane was thus the only ex-wife of any President. This of course changed with Donald Trump who has two ex-wives. After Jane and Reagan were divorced she married Fred Karger in 1952 but later divorced in 1955. The two tried again and remarried some six years later in 1961. That marriage too ended in divorce in 1965. Jane remained unmarried for the rest of her life following her last divorce from Fred.
Iconic journalist Barbara Walters has had a number of rumors surrounding her love life over the years. However, this smart lady has been married twice to one of her husbands. She married to Merv Adelson in 1981, Merv was originally a real estate mogul who became involved in television and was even founder of Lorimar Television which produced tons of hits including The Waltons and Full House. Barbara had previously adopted her only child, daughter Jacqueline Guber in 1968, and Merv became a stepfather. The two later divorced in 1984.
However, they reunited two years later in 1986 and remarried. Sadly, the romance didn’t last and the two split for good in 1992. Merv died in 2015 at the age of 85.
