Andrew Lincoln Thought His Character Was Creepy In Love Actually

Before scoring the lead role of Rick Grimes in AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead, actor Andrew Lincoln’s most notable appearance was in the 2003 Christmas romance flick Love Actually. He played the character Mark, which according to Lincoln was the worst character in the film.

He says that “The story is set up like a prism looking at all the different qualities of love. Mine was unrequited. So I got to be this weird stalker guy. Throughout filming, he sought constant reassurance from others that his character wasn’t coming off as creepy, which he was. Although he managed to shake off the role, he still sees it as one of the stranger characters he’s ever played.
