Reality television shows have dominated prime time television in the last twenty years. The “American Idol” craze is where it all began. We all watch with anticipation as Simon Cowell harshly criticized contestants who just did not have that certain something special. Melanie Janine Brown, better known as Mel B and also Melanie G, is a vocalist, presenter, actress, and model. She rose to fame as a member of the girl group the Spice Girls. She was known as Scary Spice. The Spice Girls have sold more than 28 million copies worldwide, and they have the best-selling album by a female group in music history. Mel B. became a contestant on the fifth season of Dancing with the Stars partnering with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. They placed runner-up overall.

Denise Richards is an American actress and a former fashion model. Joanna Krupa is a Polish-American model, actress and animal rights activist. Stacy Keibler is an American actress, model, dancer, cheerleader, and former professional wrestler who is famous for her work with World Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). She is now a model and she writes music for other artists.

Katie Waissel is a singer and a contestant who appeared on Season 7 of “X Factor.” She was pretty unpopular when she was auditioning because of her condescending attitude, but she made it through the auditions anyway. Katie craved fame very badly and this is perhaps why she was so brash. She was a singer previously before appearing on “X Factor.”

Victoria ‘Coco’ Lloyd was a contestant on Series 6 of the reality television series “X Factor.” She was a part of an all-girl group called Kandy Rain. They were the first of the contestants to be voted off the 2009 show after performing “Addicted To Love.” The group had a very suggestive tone to their act. She has since done some adult-related work, such as posing for Playboy magazine.

Lucie Jones was a contestant who appeared during Season 6 of the reality show “X Factor.” She was a finalist the year before. Lucie took the top slot for being the hottest of the X Factor finalist. Her looks could not save her, though, as she was eliminated when Jedward made it through in week five. After “X Factor” she signed with a modeling agency, got into acting and became the new face of Wonderba as well.

Tamar Ashley Davis, better known professionally as Tamar, is an American singer who came to prominence because of her association with the late, great artist Prince. She started her career in a girl group called Girl’s Tyme who appeared on Star Search. She left Girl’s Tyme and the band morphed into the singing group Destiny’s Child. Tamar appeared on Season 10 of “The Voice.”

Suzanna Choffel is an American singer-songwriter and musician. She has appeared on national television and in film. Suzanna is known for her guitar technique and distinctive voice. Choffel auditioned for the third season of NBC’s “The Voice” in 2012. She scored a position on Blake Shelton’s team after performing Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.” She exited the program doing a cover of Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved.”

Sasha Allen is an American vocalist and actress who was born and raised in Harlem, New York. She already had experience in the music industry, as a backup singer for the likes of Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Leona Lewis, and Usher. She was a contestant on the fourth season of “The Voice.” Sasha auditioned with “Not Ready to Make Nice” by the Dixie Chicks, which turned all four coaches’ chairs! She decided to join Adam Levine’s team and was able to make it to the semifinals as she was the final member of Team Shakira.
RaeLynn and the Journey to Success
Racheal Lynn Woodward, better known as RaeLynn, is an American singer and songwriter who was a contestant on “The Voice” season two, back in 2012. Her audition song was “Hell on Heels.” She went from there to do live shows and performed “Wake Up Call” by Maroon 5 and “She’s Country” by Jason Aldean. For her last-chance performance, she sang “If I Die Young” by The Band Perry, but was chosen over Erin Willett and eliminated.

Raquel Castro is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She is best known for her role in “Liv and Maddie” as South Salamanca. Raquel was a contestant in the American version of The Voice during Season one. She was selected in the Blind Audition round and was coached by Christina Aguilera. She progressed to the first round of the live shows before being eliminated with Lily Elise.
Paula From The Voice, Season Six
Paula DeAnda is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She first came to recognition with her first single, “Doing Too Much,” which became a big hit. She auditioned for Clive Davis, who signed her to Arista Records. Paula’s debut album was released in 2006 and contained the US Billboard Hot 100 top twenty song “Walk Away (Remember Me).” She auditioned for Season six of “The Voice.” Both Shakira and Blake Shelton turned their chairs for her, but she opted for Blake Shelton. Paula was beaten in round one of the battles by teammate Sisaundra Lewis after their duet of Lady Gaga’s “Do What U Want.”
Cassadee from The Voice Season Three
Cassadee Pope is an American vocalist and songwriter. She was the lead vocalist of the band Hey Monday. Her debut solo country album “Frame by Frame” became a top Billboard hit, and it debuted at number one on the Top Country Albums with 43,000 copies sold in its first week. She was a contestant on “The Voice” during the third season. She was part of Team Blake, and was the winner of the competition. In the Knockout Rounds, Cassadee was paired against Suzanna Choffel. She sang “Payphone.” Blake chose Cassadee as the winner, sending her to the Live Playoffs.
