Are we alone? Well, more than half of Americans think not. When it comes to alien existence, many believe that there is at least some form of intelligent life out there beyond our planet. And it’s hard not to. After all, there are countless books, documentaries, photographs, and videos of alleged alien sightings. But alien-believers go beyond sci-fi enthusiasts and your quirky aunt—many celebrities believe in them too. Check out this list of celebs who believe that we are definitely not alone.
Alicia Has Probably Met Aliens Before?
If you’ve met an alien before, it’s best to come out and admit it, right? While you may be embarrassed to recount your experience, the truth must come out at some point. At least that’s what singer Alicia Keys seemingly thought during an interview with Buzzfeed.
Buzzfeed asked Alicia Keys several questions, one of which was whether or not she believed in aliens. She came right out and said, “Yeah, I do.” Buzzfeed went on to ask her if she has ever met any aliens before, to which Alicia replied,” Yeah, I’ve met some serious aliens in my life, for sure [laughs]. I’m sure you’ve seen a UFO. Haven’t all of us seen something flying in the sky, and it’s at some random time of night that doesn’t make sense, and it’s not the shape of a plane?” She’s got a point.
Megan Fox Believes In…Everything
While some folks believe in aliens, other believe in aliens and a slew of different otherworldly things. Megan Fox is one of those people.
While Megan was finishing up filming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2014, she had time to sit down with MTV. She told MTV that she, ” believes in “everything”—you know, ghosts, Bigfoot, and, of course, aliens. She also said that a ghost visited her in Mexico and served her some “phantom coffee.” We can’t say for sure, but it sounds like she wasn’t drinking just coffee.
“It Was Unidentified And It Was Flying”
Like young children, teenagers can have wild imaginations too. But Olivia Newton-John claims her alien experience when she was a teen is anything but fantasy.
The Grease star told The Sun crazy details about seeing an object in the sky when she was 15 years old. On UFOS, she said, “I have seen one when I was very young. It was unidentified and it was flying.” Olivia did not stop there. She also said that the object flew at “amazing speeds.”
“I Don’t Believe We Are The Only Species In Existence”
Questions may arise from certain works that stars have performed in. These questions may pertain to the overall feel of a television series or film. Fans want to know how a character acts, thinks, and feels onscreen as well as off screen.
Halle Berry appeared in Extant in which she was an astronaut who goes to outer space on a mission and gets pregnant under bizarre circumstances. She returns to earth after 13 months to find she is pregnant, although nothing that could have caused a pregnancy happened in outer space. Perhaps the role gave Halle a new take on aliens as she was quoted saying, “I don’t believe we are the only species in existence.”
Dan Says, “They Are Here”
Located in Lincoln County, Nevada, Area 51 is a highly classified and remote detachment on the Edwards Air Force Base. While the base’s primary purpose is currently unknown, historical evidence supports that it may deal with UFOs. There are even some who believe that there are actual aliens at Area 51 but are kept secret by the facility.
Comedy legend and actor Dan Aykroyd was interviewed on Larry King Live and spoke about Area 51 and his belief in aliens, saying, “They are here, science should accept that they are here and look how they have come from a billion years in the future or the next dimension or wherever they are coming from. They have abducted people.”
Tom Delonge’s Diligent Search For The Truth
Tom Delonge wants the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It was said that after a dump from WikilLeaks, the former Blink-182 frontman supposedly emailed Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager to inquire about aliens. He has been quoted saying he has searched for aliens for years, and “got into this” years before anyone knew about the WikiLeaks dump according to Paper Magazine.
Tom Delonge also believes that his phone has been tapped among other things as he went on to say, “I’ve had my phone tapped. I’ve done a lot of weird stuff in this industry—people wouldn’t believe me if I told them.”
Russell Crowe Has Proof, Well, Not Really
In 2013, Russell Crowe claimed to have proof of sighting a UFO. When trying to take a picture of fruit bats in his back yard, strange lights appeared in the images. He posted picture of the mysterious glowing red lights and fully believe it was proof of extraterrestrial life.
It didn’t take long for people to dissect the images and determine what they really were—just long exposures of light caught on camera. Crowe faced backlash for the pictures and many believed it was actually a publicity stunt.
“There Is No Doubt That There Is Life Out There”
Anyone could see why William Shatner would believe in other life forms apart from those on Earth. Everyone knows that he spent time in space…at least in a fictitious sense.
William Shatner went on record as saying, “There is no doubt that there is life out there; the mathematics of it lead you to that absolute conclusion. In my mind, there is no doubt that the universe teems – teems! – with life in all its forms.” William Shatner also told The Daily Mail in 2014, “I don’t think there is any doubt there is life in the universe, yes. I don’t think there is any question.”
Seek And You May Find An Alien
Singer Rihanna enjoyed family time with her father as a child in Bridgetown, Barbados. Here, she would spend hours sitting on the front porch and looking out for unidentified flying objects.
Her dad believed that aliens were going to visit earth someday and Rihanna recounts those childhood memories. She has been quoted as saying: “My dad used to make me sit outside on the steps all night long looking for UFOs flying by, and I had to do that for years. I didn’t see any but I saw a falling star once and I was like, ‘Yessss, Dad! Come and see, it just darted.”
Kesha Has Seen A Flying Saucer
Kesha has seen what some other believers have claimed to have seen in their lifetime: a flying saucer. She even appeared on the Zach Sang Show and spilled the beans.
Here is her account of what she experienced: “I look up in the sky and there’s a bunch of spaceships. I swear to God, there were like five to seven, and I don’t know why I didn’t like try to take a picture of it—I just looked at it. I was sitting on a rock, and I was like, ‘What in the hell is that?’ I was trying to figure it out, and then they went away. And then they came back I was like, ‘Those are [expletive] aliens.’ They were spaceships!”
Amy Believes There Is Other Life Out There
Finding a healthy balance between work and life is really important. Work can really go to a person’s head and make it difficult to think clearly. Amy Adams seems to have carried her work into her personal life.
In an interview with The Chicago Sun Times, the actress said that working on Arrival changed her point of view about aliens. “I love to believe there is other life in the universe. After all, it is so big! That would be cool. Plus, it also takes a lot of hubris to believe we’re the only life form in the universe. Of course, life forms may take very different shapes or ways of existing from what we think of when we talk about living things. Frankly, I love looking at the night sky and thinking about the vastness of the universe. It keeps things in perspective for me.”
Is Nick Jonas Losing His Mind?
Nick Jonas can confirm that there are UFOs flying around in the sky. The singer said that he saw several unidentified flying objects years ago and no one can convince him that he was wrong. Where did Nick see them? In his back yard of all places.
Apparently, Nick was so convinced about what he saw, he told ITV This Morning about the whole experience in 2015. “I was in my backyard in L.A., and I looked up at the sky and [saw] three flying saucers,” he said. “I looked at my friend and said, ‘Are you seeing this or am I losing my mind?’ He was seeing the same thing. Then I went online and looked and there were three identical sightings, two weeks before.”
“I Think Aliens Are Really Cool”
Ah, Jaden Smith…what can you say about this young man? Has he been watching too much Men In Black? While the young start more than likely grew up watching the movie that his father Will Smith starred in, perhaps it’s shaped his paradigm about life being on other planets a little too much.
Jaden Smith had to go to the ultimate source to find the answers that he sought out—former President of the United States, Barack Obama. Jaden himself spoke to Obama in 2013 according to Wonderland Magazine, saying, “I talked to President Obama about extraterrestrials. He said he could neither confirm nor deny the existence of aliens, which means they’re real. If people think we’re the only people that live in this universe, then something is wrong with them.” He then went on to say, “I like aliens! I think aliens are really cool, because they exist.”
“I’m Such a Conspiracy Theorist. Let Me Enjoy This”
Those who live in Los Angeles might remember the phenomenon that occurred in 2015. Thousands of residents saw a strange blue light in the sky, prompting many to believe it was a UFO.
One L.A. resident, Khloe Kardashian has been pretty vocal about her belief in aliens and thinks there is a cover up about instances like the one in 2015. She went to Twitter after she saw the lights and posted: “I live for this stuff #UFO #WeAreNotAlone omg @KendallJenner this is wild!” When the news broke and reporters tried to find a source of the lights, Khloe said: “What do we expect people to say? Obviously they are going to say it’s a meteor shower. I’m such a conspiracy theorist. Let me enjoy this.”
Sigourney Believes We Are Not Alone
The Aliens movie apparently went to Sigourney Weaver’s head. The actress has had her share of alien encounters on screen and it doesn’t appear to have been a pleasant experience. The film is so realistic at points that it’s easy to see how it could make someone believe that there are aliens waiting to invade earth.
Sigourney Weaver expressed her belief in aliens in 2011 to a German TV magazine called Spielfilm: saying, “We are not alone in the universe. I think there’s a department in our government which is exclusively dedicated to quashing reports about aliens. And that’s so unfair. It would be nice if we weren’t just able to read about it in the tabloids.”
Are Humans Too Self-Centered?
Do not try to talk to Demi Lovato about life forms that do not exist. She believes that there is other life in the universe and she even gave Seth Meyers a piece of her mind saying, “How self-centered would we be, as humans, to believe that we are the only living things in the universe?”
It does not end there. Why would Demi have this belief? Perhaps the star has had an encounter with another life form or maybe she has even seen a saucer flying in the night, lights ablaze. She went on to say to Seth Meyers, “I’ve seen a UFO. I was walking outside and I looked up and it almost was like there was a worm in the sky. It was changing shapes and moving all over the place.”
Fran Says We Are Programmed By Aliens
The Nanny star, Fran Drescher, claims she had an actual encounter with an alien, which led her to meet her (now ex) husband.
Fran said, “Peter and I both saw aliens before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads—in all seriousness. We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It’s the exact same scar on the exact same spot. I said to him, that’s what the aliens programmed us to think. But really, that’s where the chip is.”
While Fran might believe aliens programmed them to meet, her ex-husband isn’t convinced. He says that Fran got her scar from a drill bit.
Katy Perry Is An Alien
Katy Perry has had an encounter with an alien and at one time, was, in fact, an alien herself. If you remember her alien transformation from a few years ago, then you will know that she left her human form and was an extraterrestrial. She actually has the ability to turn into an extraterrestrial and back into a human at any time.
All kidding aside, Katy Perry let GQ know about her belief in aliens, saying: “I look up into the stars and I imagine: How self-important are we to think that we are the only life-form. I see everything through a spiritual lens. I believe in a lot of astrology. I believe in aliens.”
Zooey’s Sister Was Replaced By An Alien
Being the youngest child has its share of difficulties. Mainly, getting picked on by older siblings. Celebrity siblings Zooey and Emily Deschanel are no different.
Emily, who is three years older than Zooey, spent her time as a child convincing Zooey that that alien life was real. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Zooey detailed how Emily told her that she was, in fact, an alien from, planet Neptune who had killed the real Emily and took over her body. While sci-fi movie buffs while recognize this is actually the plot from Invasion of the Body Snatchers, a three-year-old Zooey thought it was true.
“Seriously, I Want To Go Out And Investigate These Things…”
Some people will go to extreme lengths when they feel strongly about their beliefs. But what happens when someone’s beliefs are so powerful that it could change their entire life? Robbie Williams knows.
In 2008, the singer said he was wanted to leave the music industry completely. His reason? Aliens. “Seriously, I want to go out and investigate these things,” Robbie said. “I’m stopping being a pop star and being a full-time ufologist.”
Robbie also spoke to BuzzFeed about a paranormal experience that he had, saying, “My best one…UFO…sober, sitting back one night [at a] hotel. I would say twice the size of this room. Which is not good for you at home. It was big [stretches arms out wide]. What can I say it was like? It was like two penalty boxes at football and it was just there and it was just above the trees and it looked like a platform of some kind… And then it just floated off. Crazy. But I’ve had quite a few of those.”
