Maybe they’d include a brief explanation of why they are moving on, a thank you to the employer for the opportunity, and even an apology for leaving. Others, however, like to go out with more flair. These people want to make it very clear to their employers why they are quitting and do so in very creative and abrasive ways. Others just want to make one last joke on their way out. Some keep it short and sweet while others leave it all out on the table. Here are some of the most savage and creative ways people have quit their jobs. The Presidential Way
Richard Nixon certainly knew how to resign. Not just from any job, but from the Presidency of the United States. He kept it short and sweet with a letter, his signature, oh, and with a “sincerely” thrown in there to soften it up. In 14 words, he managed to resign from the presidency of one of the most powerful countries in the world. This has to be the simplest ways of quitting one of the biggest jobs out there. A resignation letter can say a lot about a president’s time in office, so it appears that Nixon wanted to make it clear and concise… as if having to step down wasn’t humiliating enough.
