Kanye’s Album ‘Jesus Is King’ Faces Possible Delay

Another Kanye West album, another delay... maybe? Sources close to the situation claim that it's not coming but Kim Kardashian seems to suggest it's still on its way.

His latest album "Jesus Is King" is supposed to be released September 27th. However, a source close to the rapper revealed to Variety that it's going to be delayed.

According to "Hits Daily Double", the decision was made after executives from Def Jam Recording traveled to Wyoming. They reportedly had a "Come to Yeezus" meeting with Kanye. What does that mean? No one knows. However, it wouldn't be the first time West has pushed an album back. He similarly delayed the release of his album "Yandhi" in 2018, which has since been pushed back indefinitely.

Despite these rumors swirling, his wife Kim Kardashian's latest actions on Twitter seem to suggest the album is still on track to be released on the 27th. She originally posted a setlist of the album in late August and has been counting down the days to the release ever since. On September 25th, she continued the countdown by retweeting a tweet that said: "2 more days Jesus Is King."

West has yet to officially commit on the situation so all fans can do is wait and see if he can finally commit to an album release day.
