With the end of The Big Bang Theory in 2019, the cast was left looking for work. At least one of them has latched onto a new gig. Kaley Cuoco, who made her name in television comedies, will step on the tarmac and spread her dramatic wings in The Flight Attendant.

The thriller will debut on the WarnerMedia streaming service after the actress signed a lucrative deal with Warner Brothers Television. Based on the novel of the same name, the show will follow Cassandra Bowden after she wakes up hungover in a hotel room in Dubai next to a corpse.

When she gets back to New York, she is questioned by FBI agents and begins to question whether she was responsible for the grisly crime. At this point, not much is known about when the Greg Berlanti produced show will premiere, or whether it's being designed as a multi-season series or a mini-series.

Cuoco's deal with WB is for two years and keeps her on the production side, although there is a "talent holding provision" so she can keep acting when the right roles appear. Along with The Flight Attendant, Cuoco will help develop several projects of all genres, including more Big Bang Theory style sitcoms.
