In fact, you often have to deal with the worst kind of people and their horrible manners in nicer hotels. Take a look at real life confessions of hotel staff: the good, the bad, and the ugly! These are the secrets hotels don’t want you to know, as well as some crazy stories about things that have happened to hotel staff around the world.

Kindness Pays

Kindness Pays

Being nice to hotel staff definitely pays off. Other hospitality workers have confessed through the Whisper app about how the nicer guests receive better service. A front desk worker said that if a person is very nice they will give them as much as they are allowed to give which includes better service overall, a better and cleaner room, freebies and other extras. However, if a guest is rude, the reality is a totally different story. Some workers have confessed to the app that they will put mean guests in the worst room of the hotel. Others have said that if a guest is obnoxious they will clean their room only to replace their sheets and towels from a dirty room. Ugh! Sounds like being nice definitely pays off.
