Celebrities Who Are Parents To Twins Or Multiples

Society seems to have a fascination with parents who have multiple children at once. Remember “Octomom’s” sudden rise to fame? Or John and Kate Gosselin and their reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8? According to a study done in 2013, one in 837 births in the U.S. are triplets or higher multiples. Twins, on the hand, are a lot more common than most people think; they occur in three out of every 100 births in the U.S.! With these statistics, it’s no shock that some of our most beloved celebrities are parents to twins, triplets or more!

Harmonious Together

Songstress and infamous diva Mariah Carey gave birth to twins at the age of 42. She and then-husband, actor Nick Cannon, welcomed a son-and-daughter set, Moroccan and Monroe, into the world in 2011. During the birth, Mariah’s hit song “We Belong Together” played in the background.

Though the couple divorced in 2014, they have found a way to harmoniously co-parent. The former couple still happily celebrated the twins sixth birthday earlier this year at Disneyland…together. Not to mention, they probably dropped a fortune on the lavish event (a suspected five figures).
