Trista Sutter, the first winner
Trista Sutter appeared as the desire of the bachelor’s eyes on The Bachelorette, season one. She was able to find her mate, Ryan, on the first season as well.
Ryan Sutter is Trista’s man!
Ryan Sutter is a foxy firefighter who appeared on the first season of the show. He was able to win the heart of Trista while beating out other contestants and they eventually got married.
Deanna Pappas gets no such luck
Deanna Pappas appeared on The Bachelor, Season 11. She was not chosen on the show, so she gave The Bachelorette a shot and it did not work out for her either.
Jesse Kovacs is here, there, and everywhere
Jesse Kovacs has appeared on such reality TV shows as The Bachelorette, Bachelor Pad and most recently, Bachelor In Paradise. He now appears on Millionaire Matchmaker. He has a lot of time on his hands.
David found gold elsewhere!
David Good was a contestant on The Bachelorette. Although he did not find the love he was seeking on the show, he ended up getting engaged to his long-time friend Brianne Elise.
Justin finds love in Jersey
Justin Rego starred on The Bachelorette and came up a bit short on the show. He would later strike gold when he started dating Angelina Pivarnick who breifly appeared on the first two seasons of MTV’s show Jersey Shore.
Emily Maynard is a hottie!
Emily Maynard was the girl-next-door and object of the contestant’s affection on The Bachelorette’s sixth season. Did Emily find the love that she was so earnestly seeking? Yes!
Ian Mckee, the winner from Season 2
Ian Mckee appears on Season 2. He went head-to-head against other contestants and ended up winning Meredith’s heart. Sadly, their relationship ended in 2005.
Graham and DeAnna and a second chance, perhaps
Graham Bunn from The Bachelorette Season Four and DeAnna Pappas. DeAnna lost her composure over Graham because he was super hot. Could there be a second chance?
Reid, the common guy with a good heart
Reid Rosenthal from Season Five did not have the muscular stud look that most of the other guys had, but he was neurotic and witty and won the hearts of the viewers.
Looks are not enough sometimes
Jesse Beck from Season 6 had the looks that most women want. He has the body, face, and the tattoos, but he did not have the ability to capture Ali’s heart.
Kip is maybe a little bit too much
Kiptyn Locke appeared on season five of The Bachelorette. He was tailor-made for a reality TV show. He may have had a little too much to offer on Season Five and was not the finalist but the runner-up.
Chris just was not interested
Chris Lambton appeared on Season 6 of The Bachelorette. Chris could have won this season, but he was not interested in Ali. He is now dating Peyton Wright.
Roberto and Ali — the perfect mismatch
Roberto Martinez was a bachelor who appeared on Season Six of The Bachelorette. He seemed like a very nice guy and had the dimples to prove it. He ended up getting the final rose for Season 6. He is now dating Sarah Underwood.
William’s bad luck. Don’t insult the lady
William Holman appeared on Season Seven of the show. He seemed like a witty guy, which he took too far when he lost the comedy roast for roasting Ashley!
J.P. lucks out with Ashley
J.P. Rosenbaum appeared on season seven of The Bachelorette. He had a great sense of humor and a sexy smile and bald head. He ultimately won the last rose on Season Seven.
Sean Lowe is the comeback kid
Sean Lowe appeared on Season 8 of The Bachelorette. He stuck around until he was eliminated in week nine. Due to popular demand, he became the bachelor in Season 17 of The Bachelor.
Arie is the kissing bandit!
Arie Luyendyk Jr. from Season Eight had some memorable moments. This includes his kissing skills, and hence the name The Kissing Bandit. He even gave Sean Lowe some love lessons!
Drew and his not-so-high standards
Drew Kenney of Season 9 had an amazing smile and a great body, but that can only get you so far. He apparently did not have high enough standards. Oh well.
Brooks may be a little too weird
Brooks Forester has very memorable hair and is an expert in promoting socks. Okay, he may be a little odd to some, but hey, there is someone for everyone eventually.
Chris has the best heart
Chris Siegfried of Season 9 is another nice guy who appeared on the show. His charm brought out the best in Des, so much that he received the final rose for Season 9.
Jillian is the first Canadian star
Jillian Harris is a former bachelorette and a current Canadian television personality and interior decorator. She appeared on season 5 of The Bachelorette, and became its first Canadian star.
Ali and Roberto are the consummate couple
Alexandra “Ali” Fedotowsky appeared on the sixth season of The Bachelorette. She eventually gave her last rose to Roberto Martinez and became engaged to him.
Andi Dorfman: a double first for the show
Andi Jeanette Dorfman appeared on the tenth season of The Bachelorette and the eighteenth season of The Bachelor. She is the first person of Jewish ancestry to appear on The Bachelorette, and the first attorney as well.
Kaitlyn racks up popularity over Nilsson
Kaitlyn Bristowe is a former contestant on The Bachelor who appeared in season nineteen and appeared on The Bachelorette in the eleventh season. She won out over contestant Britt Nilsson and became the official bachelorette for Season Eleven.
Jared gets knocked the f%$@ out!
In one of the competitions, Ben Z and Jared go head-to-head in a boxing match. Ben Z outweighed Jared by 50 pounds. Jared ended up getting knocked out with one punch!
JJ gets owned by Amy Schumer
Comedian Amy Schumer appeared on the show during one of the group dates. The men go to the comedy club. She singles out JJ with this comment: “It’s like you sit home and, like, judge other people, and you’re like, ‘I’m fine.'”
Tony and his stand-up comedy routine might be confusing
During a comedy routine, Tony says “Seriousness is going out the window. It’s time to cut loose and be, ya know, be Tony.” Tony then gives the audience a dirty comedy routine. It could not be called stand-up by most people’s standards.
Poor JJ, everyone just hates him
During one of the rose ceremonies, the guys were nice enough to give the guy who had not had a lot of dating time with Kaitlyn an opportunity to spend some time with her. JJ then swooped in to take the time for himself before anyone made the decision.
Tensions run high with king Kupah
At first, Kupah James and Kaitlyn have what seems like an innocent conversation. The conversation escalates because Kupah felt that he was there to fill the minority quotient, while Kaitlyn said she had real feelings for him. As he questioned her, things got out of hand.
Daniel dives right into his private life
Daniel is comfortable talking about his private life to his competitors, although his competitors are not as open or not as confident talking about their intimate lives. Some of his comments were a little risque for a primetime TV show.
Chad Johnson is just too hard to handle
Chad Johnson is the big muscular guy who loses his temper. Extra security guards were hired for the show just to watch Chad and protect the other contestants from his rage!
Chad or Evan has to go bye-bye
Due to the thick tension that exists between Chad and others, Evan gives an ultimatum. Evan’s ultimatum was this: he took JoJo aside and told her that either Chad goes or he goes.
Chad is totally out of control
Chad and his anger issues! Chad goes off on JoJo when JoJo tells him that she gave a group date rose to Evan. Chad says “You’re actually vibing this dude?” JoJo says “Yeah, and I don’t appreciate what you’re doing,” she said. “Don’t be disrespectful. I don’t like that.” JoJo puts Chad in his place.
Choose either one or the other
During The Bachelorette Finale of the 2014 season, Nick confronts Andi about the Sex in the Fantasy Suite. Andi comes to the decision and chooses Josh over Nick because “something else was more right.” Biggest WTF ending ever.
Clint and JJ go head to head, almost
A strong friendship between JJ and Clint comes to an end when Clint makes an inappropriate comment. They almost come to blows. Clint says he has “connected more with JJ than Katlyn right now because we are so similar.” Is Clint there for someone other than Kaitlyn?
Emily tells Kalon to “Get the f%*$ out”!
Emily is told by a cast member that Kalon said that Emily’s son is extra baggage. Emily does not take kindly to this, so she confronts Kalon about it and he admits to saying those things. Emily then tells Kalon to “Get the f*** out!”
Jake and Vienna can’t be together
Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi appear on a final interview together. A rumor-filled accusation brings Jake to the boiling point. Jake then yells at Vienna, and Vienna walks off of the interview. Jake later says Vienna “was kind of stalkerish.”
Chad is a total monster
Chad Johnson and his anger strike again! Chad has had many a confrontation with several cast members, to the point where host Chris Harrison had to hire extra security just to deal with Chad.
Kaitlyn breaks the bad news
Kaitlyn has a sit-down moment with Shawn. She gives him some bad news. Kaitlyn tells Shawn that she slept with Nick. As expected, Shawn takes the bad news and is very upset. He even starts to tear up.
Paradise Isn’t All It’s Cracked Up To Be
Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 ended in such a happy way: stars Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton were engaged to become married. But the August 2016 engagement didn’t last long. As of December the couple had called things off. 32-year-old Murray and 26-year-old Stanton just weren’t able to make the relationship work, with one friend telling ET that the two had already split up a few times after the show. Apparently, real-life relationships are tougher than onscreen ones!
What A Slap In The Face!
Contestant Nick Viall has had not one, not two, but THREE chances at finding love on The Bachelor. But it doesn’t sound like his latest attempt, in Season 21, is a bed of roses. Promos for the upcoming season show Viall getting slapped across the face by one of his love interests! Other highlights from the reel indicate that he also makes out on a yacht and flips over a table during the season. I gotta see this!
A Deadly Mistake
On April 25, 2017, former Bachelor star Chris Soules was arrested after leaving the scene of a fatal car crash in Iowa. The grisly wreck, which involved Soules’ pickup truck rear-ending a tractor, left the other driver dead. According to authorities, Soules fled the scene on foot but was later apprehended and jailed. The 35-year-old had appeared on Season 10 ofThe Bachelorette in 2014. He has also appeared on Dancing With the Stars and the Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America. Entertainment Tonight

Soules and the victim, 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher, were neighbors. A source close to the reality star says that he is “devastated.” He was released after posting $10,000 bail. Some members of Mosher’s family have already publicly forgiven Soules, calling the accident a “huge mistake.” One relative told People, “It’s something he’s going to have to deal with for the rest of his life. It just ended very tragically.” Soules deleted his Instagram account when he was released from jail.
